スティーブは2000年からプロモーターとして活躍していて、多くのアーティスト（game, jim jones, lloyd, yung jocなど）のツアー、ライブ、パーティーをアメリカ、ヨーロッパ、日本と世界中で手がけているプロモーターです。日本には2007年9月に来ましたが、現在も六本木のMIDAS, 横須賀のGREEN HILL, 渋谷のAXXCISを中心にパーティーをプロモートしています。前回大成功を納めたNU JERZEY DEVILジャパンツアーもスティーブの企画です。アメリカ、ヨーロッパでのプローモーターとしての地位は確立しています。今後は、多くのアーティストを日本へのブッキングしていきます。
Self determined, self reliant, self made, Steve Newland is building a name for himself and his brand as a true force in the entertainment industry. Born Steve Anthony Newland Jr in New Jersey to a Panamanian Mother, and Jamaican father, those around Steve quickly noticed his drive and ambition to go a step further then his peers. Years later, Steve would grow into a seasoned world traveler. Having traveled the world before the age of 18. Newland’s travels took him to places such as Japan, Italy, Germany, Panama, Canada, Spain, France, Slovenia, Austria, Guam, Mexico, England, and the list goes on. With such exposure to the world, Steve quickly developed a bigger sense of self and life, and his place in the world. “Seeing the world gave me my greatest asset or trait you can say, the ability to adapt!” (2005 True Stories DVD Magazine) “There’s alot of people who’ve never left their hoods before, much less the country! Seeing the things I’ve seen in my life really humbles you, because you see there’s alot better/worse out there, so at the end of the day be thankful you got yours.”
As C.E.O. of New-Age Entertainment LLC, The Label / Promotions & Marketing Giant / International Booking Agency, he co-founded with life long friend “Prez” aka Marcus Williams-Mohamed in Italy 2001. The crew, along with Minority Report Productions, lead by super producers, Nemezyz aka Pako, and Chino aka Dennis Landry combined efforts to bring forward a new age of music and entertainment. Having accomplished world tours, reality television shows, radio shows, countless videos and magazines, and everything in between… New-Age/MR has arrived as a major player throughout the industry. New-Age/MR has worked with some of the biggest companies/artists/djs in the game from: Cabri Entertainment and CEO David Goodman, Def Jam, Warner Music Group, Koch Records, Interscope-Gunit, Geffen, Block Ent, Bad Boy, and Sony BMG… and Countless other promotion companies/labels worldwide.
Those who’ve been exposed to the young mogul can vouch for his intense drive and ability to make something out of nothing. Certainly Newland has paid dues, loosing loved ones, money, friends, among a few things, yet his resolve held strong, and has paid off in all aspects of his life. With several large business ventures on the horizon, it won’t be long until the name Steve Newland, quickly becomes a recognized one by all.
