Gary Coleman’s Ex-Wife Lied About Marriage Status
Making for quite the troubling circumstances, breaking reports tell that Shannon Price lied about being the wife of Gary Coleman when dealing with hospital personnel following his fall.
Having negotiated the divorce, attorney Randy Kester tells People magazine, “I can confirm they’ve been divorced since August 12, 2008. At the time of Gary’s death, they were not married. I have no knowledge if they were ever remarried.”
The main issue of concern centers on the fact that Miss Price made the call to “pull the plug” on Coleman, who was in a coma at the time, despite the fact that they were no longer husband and wife.
Continuing on about the situation, Kester tells Us magazine of Coleman and Price, “Their relationship has been on-again, off-again. I know that there were periods of time where she resided in the home with Gary, and there were periods of time where she didn’t.”
And, as a result of the divorce revelations, the deceased “Diff’rent Strokes” actor’s estranged parents might end up “filing a probate action which will ask the court to make a determination as to who [Gary’s] heirs are.”
Causing more trouble, Kester tells, “No one’s come forward with what appears to be a valid will. No one’s come forward with anything that would indicate that his parents would not end up being his heirs.”
