Kate Winslet: Hard at Work in NYC
Getting ready for a day’s worth of shooting, Kate Winslet was spotted on set of “Mildred Pierce” in Queens, New York on Wednesday (June 2).
The English actress looked to be deep in conversation while sporting shorts, a long-sleeved top and some shades in between takes.
In the 1930s-set drama, Kate stars as the title character, a single mother in middle-class Los Angeles during the Great Depression who is trying to earn her daughter Veda’s love, played by Evan Rachel Wood.
Kate and Evan will be teaming up again in a future film called the “Splatter Sisters,” which is set to be a “sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movie circa 1989.”
